DEMOS in Kitui Rural over killing of mother, 18-months-old son

Members of the public in Kitui Rural Constituency have condemned an incident where two family members were hacked to death by a relative using a panga.

Those killed were a mother and her young son aged a year and half.

The heinous act occurred on Sunday, June 19, 2022   at Kalulini village in Kanyangi ward.

The demonstrations were led by two Non-Governmental Organizations that work to fight for human rights in Kenya. They are The Groots Kenya and Kituo Cha Sheria.
