There will be general reduction of amounts of rain for the week ending in New Year, the weatherman has said.
The Kenya Meteorological Department forecast shows that several places in the vast county of Kitui are likely to receive light to moderate rains.
The maximum temperature during the forecast period will range from 24°C to 32°C. The minimum temperature on the other hand is expected to be between 17°C and 22°C.
