EAC, ASALs and Regional Development CS Peninah Malonza reiterated President William Ruto's resolve to address the plight of youth by spurring various youth empowerment programs.
This, CS Malonza said will put the youth in employment opportunities and accessing their full engagement in various sectors of the economy.
Speaking while addressing leaders of Kitui County Liberation Team who paid a courtesy in her office, the CS advised the young people to venture into both traditional socioeconomic sectors as well as emerging ones like the digital economy.
On their part, the Kitui youth lobby group led by their chairperson Eng. Patrick Kasimu sought the support of CS in lobbying for empowerment and development projects targeting them. They affirmed their support to President Ruto and th entire Kenya Kwanza government.
