Danny Kioko Foundation, a faith-based non-profit organization treated 32 children and their parents to assorted gifts ranging from maize flour, beans and maize.

Each took home 7kg of nutritious maize flour, 12 kg of dry maize and 4kg of beans.
During a meeting held at Nguuni village in Mwingi North Sub County, they also got refreshed with soda and loaves of bread with their guests led by Ms Nancy Muthangya, the board chairperson of Danny Kioko Foundation. The board chair said that they were delighted to see Nguuni village residents receive them warmly and share the assorted food merchandise they brought.
"It was a very good day for Nguuni village as Danny Kioko Foundation toured. We were so happy to witness how children and their parents delighted getting people who care about their tomorrow.", she said.
True to the saying that charity begins at home, residents recounted how they love and cherish the youthful Danny Kioko who has a big dream of helping the vulnerable rise from poverty.
Other villages that held a similar event were Itivanzou, Kabati and Mombasa among others.
