"Tumbula na Vincent" is a project geared towards upgrading the fertility of farms for families with limited resources. From the negative impact of climate change that has made many lands unproductive, leading to food insecurity in the community, Vincent Munyoki Foundation through this initiative has a goal of restoring the organic matter level in the soil with an aim of increasing farm yields as well as protecting the top soil for plants' growth.

This project involves the building of terraces in some homes with low income, which will not only boost food production but also create job opportunities for the people nearby.
As a way of preparing farms for planting during the incoming October-November-December rains, this organisation started this project at Kwa Ndila, Kathivo sub location, in Kitui West were they will be identifying people in need and helping them prepare their farms and dig terraces to assist in food production.
"This project is to support the needy families where we came together to dig terraces in their farms, which will help reduce soil erosion. said Dr. Vincent Munyoki, the founder of the Vincent Munyoki Foundation. "I would like to urge every farmer to prepare their lands, build terraces and plant drought tolerant crops for the short coming rains in order to fetch enough produce for our living." added Dr. Munyoki.
For a long time, some areas have been unproductive due to soil erosion which left many lands barren. This initiative will revive and reclaim the productive value of such lands. "I have been struggling with my farm without harvesting anything after a rain season due to soil erosion but now I'm happy for this Foundation for digging terraces in my farm. I'm hoping to get more yield this coming season. said Ann Muli, one of the beneficiaries.
Other area residents requested this project to cover a large number of farmers in that area, for they have been experiencing drought for long. "We ask this Foundation to help a large number of farmers in this field to prepare their lands by building terraces to kick poverty away. "said Jane Mwania, another resident.
