"We have asked the DCI to swing into action to ensure no stone is left unturned. We want the investigation to be intelligence-led and culprits hurled into court", he said.
Rutto presided over the Kitui County Jamhuri day fete where he read President Dr William Ruto's speech.
Among other senior government officials present were Kitui County Deputy Governor Augustine Kanani, MCAs and chief officers.
On Wednesday night, Speaker Kevin Kinengo was ordered out of a high end hotel in Kitui town together with several MCAs. The embarrassing encounter is said to have been effected by hired goons.
After the ordeal, the youthful Speaker issued a statement vowing to take legal action against the culprits.
Commissioner Kipchumba Rutto noted that Kitui county had witnessed rising political temperatures ahead of the 2027 polls. He warned that political violence will not be condoned.
"People must realize that the 2027 election is far off. Even if the people differed, there are better ways to resolve issues without resorting to violence", said the county security boss.
