The weatherman has good news for farmers this Christmas week. This is because there will be likelihood of morning rains as well as afternoon and night showers and thunderstorms expected over few places in the first few days of the week.
Just like last week, Kitui South is expected to have more rains than other parts of the county.
There are no significant changes in expected temperature and wind blowing across all the 40 wards. The maximum temperature will range from 23°C to 33°C while the minimum temperature is expected to oscillate between 16°C and 22°C. "Moderate north easterly to easterly winds not exceeding 12.5 knots(6.5m/s) are expected in most parts of the county ", concludes Daniel Mbithi, the county director of Meteorological Services.
