Speaking during a church service at the ACK Karurina Church in Manyatta Sub-County, the outspoken senator said it was time for all Kenyans regardless of political affiliation to unite behind the government’s agenda for growth and transformation.

Mundigi noted that President William Ruto and his deputy, Prof. Kithure Kindiki, have demonstrated goodwill towards all citizens, including those aligned with the opposition, by ensuring equitable distribution of national resources.

He urged ODM supporters not to be misled by politicians who thrive on division and confusion, saying such leaders were only pursuing selfish political interests at the expense of ordinary citizens.

“There are people moving around trying to confuse ODM supporters for their own gain.Ignore them and focus on unity. Development can only come when we work with the government, not against it.”he said.

The senator noted that before his passing, former ODM leader Raila Odinga had initiated a working relationship with President Ruto to ensure his supporters were not left behind in the development agenda.

“Before his death, Raila Odinga saw the importance of unity and partnership with President Ruto .He wanted his supporters to continue benefiting from the government’s development projects.” Mundigi said.

Mundigi emphasized that Kenya Kwanza’s administration has shown commitment to serving all Kenyans, regardless of their political persuasion, and that ODM supporters have a place in the government’s vision for national progress.

“Don’t allow yourselves to be divided by people who do not want you to benefit,”. He added, "President Ruto and Deputy President Kindiki have clearly said they are working for all Kenyans without discrimination”.

He lauded the Kenya Kwanza government for initiating numerous development projects across the country since taking office, saying Embu residents have already started witnessing positive change in infrastructure, agriculture, and education.

Mundigi called on Embu County residents to remain steadfast in supporting the government, noting that unity of purpose would accelerate progress in the region and attract more investment opportunities.

“As Embu people, let us stand by the government because we have seen many projects being rolled out, and this is just the beginning. With continued cooperation, Embu will rise to greater heights”he said.
