Mwingi North MP Eng. Paul Nzengu said that NG-CDF his constituency entered a Memorandum of Understanding with KCB Foundation aimed at availing equal amount of money for the tujiajiri program. That means if Mwingi North CDF commits KSh10million to the program, KCB Foundation also does the same. Both NG-CDF and KCB Foundation officials confirmed that this money was directly paid to the school in order to empower the 60 students.

The Mwingi North legislator further told the Polytechnic that each of the student in the next enrollment will get KSh20,000 regardless of their home county since  Tseikuru National Polytechnic receives students from across the country not just Mwingi or Kitui.

He further challenged the youth and parents to make use of the institution rather than enrolling away from home. "As your MP, I am supportive to make this a centre of excellence", he said.
He went on, "Get skills the market needs and be disciplined. Don't lose hope. Now you have hope."
