A fatal road traffic accident claimed the life of a 38-year-old man from Tseikuru location in Mwingi North sub county last night. Kevin Mwendwa Musyoka's body was taken to Kyuso County Hospital Mortuary by police. His friends fondly referred him as Mayor.
Confirming the incident, Tseikuru OCPD Joachim Meja said, "We rushed to the scene and took the body to Kyuso County Hospital Mortuary. The deceased is Kevin Mwendwa Mwendwa Musyoka aged about 38 years", said the area police boss in an interview with MWINGI TIMES.
The accident happened along Tseikuru-Mwingi road near Tseikuru National Polytechnic, according to eye witnesses.
Police are investigating the incident to unravel the identity of the vehicle that fled the scene and bring to book the offenders.
