A recently released weather forecast report by the Kitui County Director of Meteorological Services Dr Daniel Mbithi predicts that this first week of September will be warmer than average in all parts of the county. The weatherman further stated that the maximum temperature readings will oscillate between 25°C and 35°C. The lowest thermometer readings, on the other hand, will range between 13°C and 22°C.
In terms of cloud cover, expect mornings to be partially cloudy while the rest of the day will have sunny intervals.
Just like in the past, strong winds are expected to blow across some parts of the county at a speed of up to 25 knots. They are expected to blow from southern side to the south eastern direction.
