The weatherman's second forecast this year is that several places in Kitui County are likely to receive light to moderate rains in the next one week. The rainfall will be experienced towards the end of the forecast period "with more intensity in Kitui South and some areas in Kitui East, Central and Kitui Rural Sub Counties", said the Met Department.
The maximum range of temperature will be between 25°C and 34°C while the minimum temperature will oscillate from 16°C to 23°C.
Consult your local agricultural extension officers for advice on the best farm practices in the light of this weather forecast, Kitui County Director of Meteorological Services Mr Daniel Mbithi has urged residents.
