Light to moderate rains are expected tomorrow across several places in Kitui County, the weatherman has said in a weekly weather forecast report sent to newsrooms.
Kitui County Director of Meteorological Services Mr Daniel Mbithi gave the maximum temperature expected to be experienced in the arid and semiarid county to range between 27°C to 36°C. He adds that the minimum temperature over the same period will oscillate between 17°C and 24°C.
Farmers have been reminded to utilize the ongoing high temperatures to dry their crops to acceptable moisture levels in order to minimize post-harvest losses.
