The reduced rainfall comes with a weekly reminder that we are past the peak period of the March-April-May, MAM rains season. This month of May is the cessation month and it is expected that by the third week, the season will have ended. Mbithi says that the reduced rain could be an indication that the MAM rain season is nearing its cessation.
The county will generally have high temperatures given that the maximum temperature forecast is between 25°C and 35°C. The minimum temperature, on the other hand is expected to range from 15°C to 24°C.
