There will be extended dry spell across Kitui county even as locals eagerly wait for the onset of October-November-December, OND rains.
A report published by Kitui County Director of Meteorological Services Daniel Mbithi confirms, "there will no significant rain this week".
However, the OND season is set to start from November 5 or between November 5 and 14.
Still, brace yourself for high temperatures ranging from a maximum of 27°C to 37°C. The minimum temperature expected this week will be between 15°C and 24°C.
