Renowned Kamba gospel artist's dad brutally killed, administrator says

Confirming the incident, area assistant chief Mr Mutuku Mwinzi said the deceased appeared to have died from deep panga cuts.

The late Mzee has been living alone, the local administrator told the media in an interview.

"He lived separately from his wife who stayed about 100m away. At around 6am today, he was found butchered and dead. He was fatally wounded on his head" said the assistant chief Mr Mutuku Mwinzi.

The incident was reported to Mumoni OCS who escalated it to the regional DCI office in Kyuso town for further investigations. The deceased's body was taken to Kyuso Level IV Hospital morgue.
