South Eastern Kenya University (SEKU) fraternity led by Dr. Sarah Ngesu and Dr. Faraj Yatundu and student leaders yesterday paid a visit to Mwingi Special School for the Deaf in Mwingi town, offering them foodstuffs and other donations.

Speaking during the visit, Dr. Sarah Ngesu said that the visit was prompted by the vulnerable state of the school, with most children in the school coming from poor backgrounds.
Ngesu thanked SEKU university fraternity for their donations towards the visit.
Dr. Faraj Yatundu who is the head of the university marketing department, said that it's about time that SEKU introduced special education to enable the society communicate effectively with those with hearing impairment.
Dr. Yatundu said that communicating with the learners at the special school proofed hard, hence a challenge to the society to embrace special education.
Bernice Mavuva who is the Mwingi Special School head thanked SEKU for their great gesture of love, urging any other wishers to feel free to support the school.
