A media liaison officer associated with Kyuso MCA Munyoki Mwinzi has issued a communique distancing the Ward Representative from attacking Mwingi North MP Paul Nzengu.
One Kimaguero says that "We categorically deny these allegations".
He goes on to say that the Kyuso MCA respects democracy and its values including that of freedom of expression and opinion.
"Any statements made by supporters are personal views and do not reflect directives from the MCA", concludes the officer.
He called for mature and issue-based political engagements that are devoid of intimidations.
He did not mention what kind of threats were issued by supporters of MCA Mwinzi to MP Nzengu.
