Several places in Kitui County will experience light rains, the Kenya Meteorological Department's latest weather forecast shows. Only few places are expected to receive moderate rainfall betweens Friday and Monday, Kitui County Director of Meteorological Services Daniel Mbithi says in the weekly advisory.
The maximum temperature during the forecast week ending January 29 says that it will range from 26°C to 33°C while the minimum temperature will oscillate between 16°C and 22°C.
Farmers have been urged to utilize the technical skills of Ward Agricultural Extension officers from Kitui County for best farm practices in light of this forecast.
