Jeff Kavinga Kaluyu is a party leader for Unified Change Party (UCP) who vied for a presidential seat in 2017 general elections and took position 5 out of 9 candidates. Kaluyu hails from Kitui Central, Kyangwithya West ward and has a new plan for a change in Kenyan leadership come 2027 general election.
Addressing his area residents during a burial ceremony of his father Joseph Kaluyu Munyoki, he asked his fellow citizens to support him in his journey of becoming the president come next elections for he has a greater understanding of people's needs.
Kaluyu also urged the parents to support the young generation who are willing to lead in different levels of leadership for they have the capacity to be good leaders.
