Police in Mwingi West have started an investigation concerning a 54-year-old man who committed suicide. John Kisyanga Kimanzi had earlier killed his wife who was a primary school teacher at Kateiko primary school. Regional OCPD Ephantus Kenyatta confirmed the incident.
The deceased killed his 47-year-old wife Mrs Prisca Kisyanga using a panga. The man was a prisons officer based in Garissa Medium Prisons.
According to the OCPD Mr Kenyatta, the man left a suicide note accusing his deceased wife of infidelity.
Police took the bodies of the deceased to Migwani Level 4 Hospital morgue as investigations went on.
