The weatherman has signalled yet another week of depressed rains in Kitui County. This is a stark difference from heavy rainfall experienced during the onset week of the October-November-December, OND rains.
"Light morning rains as well as afternoon and night showers are expected over few places between Tuesday and Friday this week with more intensity likely in the southern sector of the County ", said Kitui County Director of Meteorological Services Daniel Mbithi.
There are no major changes in the temperature ranges to be felt as well as the accompanying wind speed compared to last month. The maximum temperature is expected to oscillate between 24°C to 33°C while the minimum limit will be from 16°C to 23°C.
