All eyes on Kalonzo to salvage Kenya

By MWINGI TIMES CORRESPONDENT

Kenyans are banking on Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to rescue the country  from the misrule and the mishandling of the economy by the Kenya Kwanza regime, Mwingi North MP Eng. Paul Nzengu has said.

“All eyes are on Kalonzo. Everyone is eager to see him become the sixth President of Kenya and save this country. The economy and the  country at large have been mismanaged by the current President,” said Nzengu.

The legislator dismissed President Dr William Ruto as a person  who is obsessed with rhetoric and telling lies without batting the eyelid. “He is a person who never speaks the truth,” he charged.

Nzengu was speaking  in Kasyunoo village in Kyuso district in his political turf during the burial of a retired agriculturalist, the late Antony Muthui Kavisi, who recently succumbed to intracerebral hemorrhage.

Saying that the country under the current Kenya Kwanza administration was headed in the wrong direction, the Mwingi North MP added that things would change for the better if Kalonzo took over as the president.

Nzengu sent out an appeal to his  constituents and all Kenyans at large to back Kalonzo’s quest to be the next president of Kenya to the last man so that Kenya would assume a trajectory of progress.

“The current regime is headed to oblivion and without  Kalonzo being president, this country will be doomed. This is no doubt common knowledge to all Kenyans,” said the MP.

He announced that already, all Wiper party MPs had without exception resolved to mount a rigorous campaign across Kenya  in a bid to ensure Kalonzo  gets sufficient backing to clinch the presidency in 2027.

As he moved  the mourners  to endorse  Kalonzo’s quest for the presidency by a show of hands, Nzengu said it was imperative for the religious among the crowd to pray so that Kalonzo realises his ultimate goal.

The MP said Kalonzo’s followers should not be worried about the increasing list of emerging presidential aspirants saying they all shared a common goal of sending the Kenya Kwanza government home.

“Let parties continue announcing their own presidential candidates but in the long run we will  get them to agree to support Kalonzo candidature and throw their weight behind him,” Nzengu said.
