The vibrant celebration activities culminated at Moi Stadium, where the team proudly presented the coveted trophy to Governor Cecily Mbarire amidst cheers by its fans.
With banners waving high and fans singing anthems to celebrate the team, onlookers and businesspeople alike within the streets watched in awe as the team paraded in streets .
In her address to the team and its supporters, Governor Mbarire pledged unwavering governmental support to nurture the talents of the young footballers and elevate Embu's standing in the sporting arena. "This team has brought immense pride to Embu, and we are committed to providing full support as they ascend to the National Super League," Mbarire affirmed, calling upon potential sponsors to rally behind the team with necessary resources for their journey across counties.
Expressing gratitude to the community, Charles Njagi, Chairman of 3K FC, acknowledged the steadfast support that propelled them to victory, vowing to enhance player quality and fortify the technical team for a formidable NSL campaign. "With a robust player roster and dedicated support staff, we are poised to conquer the NSL within a single season," Njagi declared confidently.
Coach Francis Chege articulated his aspirations for the team, setting sights on eventual participation in the prestigious Kenya Premier League.
